Painter dies after fall from extension ladder

Employee #1, a painter, was working from a 17 ft metal extension ladder, caulking wall boards. He was one of a crew of three, and each employee was working in a different section of the office structure of the building. The crew leader heard a noise and, upon investigation, found Employee #1 laying unconscious on the concrete floor, parallel with his fallen ladder. He was given medical attention and transported to a local medical center. Employee #1 died on or about November 18, 1996.
