Employee Falls on Sidewalk and Fractures Foot

On May 31, 2005, Employee #1, a para-educator working with special needs art students in Marysville, CA, drove a county van with students to pick up some art materials at the Yuba-Sutter Arts Council. As Employee #1 was walking from the building to the van, she fell off the curb and broke her left foot. She was taken to Ride Out Hospital in Marysville, CA, where she underwent surgery to repair damages. She remained hospitalized for over 48 hours.
