Employee Injures Leg When Struck By Forklift

On May 2, 2005, an employee, a laborer, had finished using porta-potty and was walking between two large metal bins. He observed a forklift backing up to his right. The employee attempted to get out of the way but slipped and fell. He was struck by the forklift sustaining injuries to his right knee and lower leg. He was hospitalized and treated for bruises on the leg.
