Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:14 p.m. on May 6, 2010, an employee fell off a rolling scaffold. The employee was a general contractor and a sole owner. The neighbor heard the noise and found the employee on the ground. Paramedics were called immediately by the neighbor, and the employee was taken to UCLA Medical Center by the helicopter. The property owner stated that the scaffold was tilted away from the building and leaned on the decorative wall about two feet high. As a result of the accident, the employee sustained a severe head injury and memory loss.
