Employee's hand injured in machine

At approximately 9:15 a.m. on March 17, 2004, Employee #1 was cleaning the metering roller system of the third unit of the Royal Zenith Planeta four-color printer, Serial Number 111521P47. He turned on the water system to get the water form and chrome rollers running. He started to clean the running rollers from the middle section of the rollers to the right using a rag with his left hand. The rollers contacted the rag and pulled his hand into the exposed nip point created by the in-running water form roller and the chrome roller. He sustained a left hand middle finger de-gloving injury and was hospitalized.
