Employee killed when pinned by truck

At about 6:11 a.m. on November 27, 2001, Employee #1 and a coworker, drivers for Covenant Transport, were backing up a 53-ft trailer truck into the loading dock. The coworker was in the driver's seat and Employee #1 was on the ground to guide the driver. While the driver was backing up the truck at an angle, Employee #1, who was on the ground, got pinned in between the side of the moving truck and another truck parked in the adjacent docking bay. Employee #1 died as a result of the impact.
