Employee Is Injuried in Fall from Cargo Loader

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 9, 2004, Employee #1 was working with a crew of men loading an aircraft with luggage, using a belt loader to raise the bags to the entry door of the cargo hold. At the time of the incident, the employee worked quickly because he was alone. He slipped and fell about eight feet, while clutching at a cargo net and was unable to steady himself. In the fall, the employee was knocked unconscious, and woke up lying on the ground outside the aircraft. The employee was hospitalized, where he was treated for his injuries.
