Employee injured in fall from ladder after electric shock

At approximately 9:10 a.m. on January 14, 2005, Employee #1 was working with a crew performing interior renovations on a commercial building. He climbed a ladder to mark the position of an electrical fixture on the ceiling. He was moving an existing fixture to one side to better access the ceiling when he touched a metal part of the fixture and received an electric shock. Employee #1 fell off the ladder to the floor. He sustained a fracture, for which he was hospitalized.
