Beam Strikes Construction Employee Fracturing His Ankle

At approximately 10:10 a.m. on August 26, 2004, Employee #1 worked with a crew of men moving steel beams off the street onto a construction job site. A large construction forklift lifted the beams and carried them onto the site. As the equipment operator slid the forks beneath a beam, the beam tipped over, and struck Employee 1's ankle. Employee #1 was hospitalized for a fractured ankle.
