At approximately 8:00 a.m. on November 11, 2003, Employee #1 was outside the bus she was about to drive when it started rolling backwards. Employee #1 ran up to the driver's side window to engage the emergency brake, became entangled, and was dragged alongside the bus. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for broken bones.
