Employee struck in the eye by flying debris

Employee #1, wearing safety glasses, was driving a steel stake into the ground with a hammer. The stake was nailed to a board and the nailed sheared off. Approximately one inch of the nail passed through the gap in his glasses, striking him in his eye. He was hospitalized with a lacerated eye.
