Employee's finger amputated by saw

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on January 30, 2003, Employee #1, of Tinney Construction, was working with a construction crew on the interior renovation of a school building, using wood framing techniques. He was operating a Skill saw. While attempting to make an adjustment to the saw, he inadvertently touched the trigger and started the saw which cut his finger off. He was hospitalized and treated for the amputation.
