Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:02 p.m. on December 23, 2002, Employee #1 and other coworkers were building an extension to a private residence. Employee #1 was using a powered handsaw to cut a piece of wood. He placed the piece of wood on his leg and started to cut the wood. As the saw penetrated the wood, its blade cut into his leg, resulting in a deep laceration. He was hospitalized for treatment of this injury.
