Employee's Knee and Ankle Are Fractured in Fall

At approximately 11 00 a.m. on February 22, 2006, Employee #1, a carpet salesperson, was measuring an area for laying carpet. Employee #1 was on the second-floor staircase and climbed over the handrails. Employee #1 slipped, fell approximately 10.5 feet to a concrete floor, and fractured his left knee and left ankle. He was admitted to Tarzana Medical Center.
