Employee Is Injured in Fall from Extension Ladder

On March 20, 2006, Employee #1 was installing solar heating panels for an in ground swimming pool in Turlock, California. A 16-ft extension ladder was placed on the tile roof, so that access was made from the first story to the second story. Employee #1 was descending the ladder, when it became displaced. Employee #1 fell onto the first story, rolled, and then fell approximately 9 ft total to the ground. He sustained multiple fractures and was hospitalized.
