Two Employees Are Injured in Snow Mobile Accident

On February 1, 2005, Employees #1 and #2, two experienced ski-patrol employees, were riding double on a Ski-Doo passenger snowmobile up a ski-run. A feature, which was created by the groomer several hours earlier, was not visible to the employees as they traveled up the ski-run. Employees #1 and #2 struck against the feature, launching the snowmobile into the air. Both employees were thrown from the snowmobile. Employee #1 sustained severe bruising, and Employee #2 fractured L1 vertebra in his back area. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
