Employee Fractures Wrist and Elbow in Fall from Roof

On November 23, 2004, Employee #1 was on a roof with a ladder. The ladder was hooked over the roof's peak. Employee #1 purposely slid off to the side of the ladder and attempted to move the ladder by "hopping" it. The ladder came unhooked and slid down the roof taking the employee with it. The employee fell 18 feet from the eave to the ground. He was hospitalized for treatment of a broken wrist and elbow.
