Foreman injured in fall from elevated work platform

On October 29, 2002, Employee #1, a foreman, was installing drywall in a 10-ft chute to a skylight. He was on a closed 6-ft stepladder that was supported by a 10-ft-long walkboard suspended between two horses 6 ft above the floor. Employee #1 fell off the ladder about 9 to 10 ft to the concrete floor. He was hospitalized for a fractured leg and ankle.
