Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a shipping clerk for Katzkin Leather Interiors Inc., was checking inventory at a warehouse. The employee was on the top cap of an A-frame fiberglass stepladder attempting to reach a package with a hand-held electronic scanner when he lost his balance and fell off the ladder. He fell approximately 9.5 feet and landed on the floor. He was transported to Beverly Hospital where he was treated for his injury.
