Employee Dies From Heart Failure

Employee #1 died from heart failure. He worked for a race track facility. At the time of his death, he was working in the dining area of the Turf Club. As he was returning to the kitchen area, he collapsed and landed on his back. Coworkers administered first aid until the arrival of paramedics, who then performed CPR. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital. He was pronounced dead approximately 1.5 hours later. The immediate cause of death was listed as atherosclerotic heart disease. The death was classified as natural with no significant conditions contributing to the cause of death.
