Investigation Summary
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on April 8, 2011, Employee #1 was working with a crew to roll up trusses manually for a new commercial building. As he was walking on the top plate of a wall from the center towards the south side of the building, he lost his balance and fell 10 feet to a concrete floor. Employee #1 suffered a fractured left wrist and neck and lower back strain. The accident occurred at a construction site located in St. Helena, CA. Employee #1 was a permanent journey carpenter for the company, which is engaged in general construction.
