Investigation Summary
On July 8, 1998, Employee #1, an industrial hygienist employed by a consulting firm, was doing background lead monitoring in preparation for a lead paint removal project on an elevated highway structure. He was on the street, overlooking his monitoring equipment, when he was attacked and beaten by a lone male assailant. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he died on July 17, 1998.
