Employee dies after fall from ladder

Employee #1, age 69, had retired from the host company and was working as a contract laborer. He had been working alone in an office doing light maintenance when he was found lying on his back, unconscious, with his feet on the second step of an 8 ft stepladder and a computer desk on top of him. Employee #1, who had a history of fainting, died of head injuries three days after the fall.
