Employee killed when struck by tree limb

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on June 12, 1996, Employee #1 was watching a skidder pull two trees to a location where he could top them. During this operation, a tree limb swung out and struck him on the head. Employee #1 was immediately hospitalized. He died during brain surgery on June 17, 1996.
