Investigation Summary
On October 16, 2002, Employee #1, a tree climber, was standing near the road and a branch fell onto the power line and caused electricity to short out. Two other employees were cutting down the tree trunk of an oak tree. One employee was using a chain saw to cut the trunk down and the other employee was using a Bobcat to push it in the direction they wanted it to fall. When the trunk fell, it fell on Employee #1, killing him at the scene.
