Employee killed when struck by falling tree

On April 17, 1996, Employee #1 was working alone, felling trees for a logging operation. He apparently was struck in the head by an approximately 7 in. diameter tree that had been lodged in a larger pine that he was cutting. Employee #1 was killed. There were no witnesses to the accident.
