Two employees killed when steel tank explodes

Employee #1 was welding a ladder onto a steel tank that was mounted on a vehicle. Employee #2, the company owner, was observing from a location nearby. The tank had contained gilsonite, a flammable liquid, and the vapors in the tank ignited. Employees #1 and #2 were killed in the resulting explosion and fire.
