ELECTRIC SHOCK - CAUSE UNKNOWN

AN EMPLOYEE WAS REPAIRING A GAS LINE UNDER A NEW MOBILE HOME. THE EMPLOYEE WAS NOT USING ELECTRIC TOOLS, BUT THE MOBILE HOME WAS SUPPLIED WITH TEMPORARY ELECTRICAL POWER BY A CABLE CONNECTED TO A 120-VOLT POWER SOURCE INSIDE THE PLANT. ADDITIONALLY, THE MOBILE HOME WAS NOT CONNECTED TO AN EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTOR. A THUNDERSTORM WAS IN PROGRESS AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT, RESULTING IN LARGE AMOUNTS OF THUNDER AND LIGHTNING AND IN VERY WET CONDITIONS. THE EMPLOYEE WAS ELECTROCUTED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE ELECTROCUTION WAS UNKNOWN. THERE WERE NO WITNESSES TO THE ACCIDENT.
