FALL FROM OPEN SIDED FLOOR

ON JANUARY 1, 1985, AT APPROXIMATELY 1:15 PM, EMPLOYEE #1 WAS STACKING 130 POUND "I" BEAM AT THE OPEN SIDED FLOORS EDGE OF THE 10TH FLOOR. THE GUARDRIAL HAD BEEN TAKEN DOWN SO THE EMPLOYEE COULD GET THE "I" BEAMS CLOSER TO THE FLOORS EDGE FOR LIFTING BY CRANE. WHILE THE EMPLOYEE WAS STACKING THIS "I" BEAM HE FELL OVER THE BUILDINGS EDGE TO HIS DEATH TEN FLOORS.
