EMPLOYEE SUFFERED HEART ATTACK; NOT WORK RELATED

EMPLOYEE #1 APPARENTLY RETURNED TO THE WORKSITE DURING THE EVENING OF FEBRUARY 7, 1985 (ON HIS OWN) AND BEGAN TO PROCESS UNDEVELOPED FILM FOR SILVER RECLAMATION. HE THEN WENT TO A NEARBY AREA AND LAID DOWN AGAINST A LARGE SCALE. HE WAS FOUND IN THAT POSITION THE NEXT MORNING BY HIS SUPERVISOR. NO ONE ELSE WAS AT THE WORKSITE WHEN THE DEATH OCCURRED. AIR SAMPLES TAKEN DURING THE UNDEVELOPED FILM PROCESSING FAILED TO INDICATE THE PRESENCE OF ANY CHEMICALS WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE OF DEATH. THE AUTOPSY REPORT INDICATED THAT THE EMPLOYEE DIED OF CARDIAC ARRHYTHMIA. THE DEATH WAS PROBABLY NOT WORK RELATED.
