Investigation Summary
Employee #1 and two coworkers were removing a large white pine tree limb from the street where it had fallen during a high wind. As they worked, the wind caused the tree trunk to break at the point where the limb had broken off. The tree fell onto the street, striking Employee #1 on the head and killing him.
