Investigation Summary
At approximately 9:45 a.m. on March 6, 1995, Employee #1, who was employed by a wall framing contractor, was pushing on an existing framed wall to plumb it up with a leverage board. Employee #1 had rested his body weight against the leverage board when it slipped from the top of the framed wall. He lost his balance and fell 21 ft 6 in. from a balcony edge to the concrete, striking his head. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital where he died about four hours later.
