AN EMPLOYEE WAS PAINTING THE SIDE OF A BUILDING THAT WAS 27 FEET, 2 INCHES IN HEIGHT. THE EMPLOYEE WAS WORKING FROM A 40-FOOT EXTENSION LADDER THAT HAD BEEN EXTENDED TO A LENGTH OF 29 FEET, 2 INCHES. AN OVERHEAD POWER LINE RAN NEXT TO THE BUILDING AT DISTANCE OF ABOUT 10 FEET FROM THE BUILDING AND AT A HEIGHT OF ABOUT 20 FEET. AS THE EMPLOYEE WAS MOVING THE LADDER ALONG THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING, HE LOST CONTROL OF IT, AND IT CONTACTED THE POWER LINE. THE EMPLOYEE WAS ELECTROCUTED.
