Employee killed when backhoe overturns

Employee #1 was operating a large backhoe to lift and remove concrete slabs from a bridge at night. The boom was extended out over the side of the bridge when the backhoe started to tip over. Employee #1 attempted to jump from the cab and became pinned between the backhoe and the bridge. He was killed.
