Employee is found unresponsive near trailer

At 12:05 p.m. on December 19, 2024, Employee #1, a truck driver, was delivering a semi-trailer to Rehig Pacific Co. in Tomah, Wisconsin. The truck and trailer were parked in front of delivery docks 1, 2, and 3. After exiting the truck around 12:00 p.m., the employee was later found lying face down next to the trailer by a Rehig Pacific Co. employee. Emergency services were called at approximately 12:30 p.m. The Tomah Police Department and Tomah EMS arrived on site at 12:36 p.m. and transported the employee to Tomah Health General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death was determined to be either cardiac arrest or pulmonary embolism. No autopsy was performed.
