Employee dies of head trauma when caught in rotating truck s

At 8:30 a.m. on November 19, 2024, an employee working as a machinery maintenance technician for a mechanical contractor was troubleshooting a water pump located under a water truck tank. The employee was caught in the drive shaft that is connected to the power take-off shaft. The employee died from multiple trauma including a concussion, lacerations to his arms and hands and burns to his left shoulder.
