Employee falls from elevated forks of bobcat and is killed

At 8:24 a.m. on October 5, 2024, Employee #1 was preparing a concrete mixture and installing concrete blocks on the unfinished second story of a single-family frame home under construction. The employee was riding on the forks of a bobcat that was elevated approximately 10 feet above the ground. The employee fell from the forks to the ground surface, sustaining a crushed chest and broken hips, resulting in a fatality.
