EMPLOYEE KILLED BY FALLING CARGO

Employee #1, a truck driver, was working on the south side of a trailer truck bed, that was being loaded with corrugated cardboard on its way to the Recycling Dept. Employee #2 was on the north side of the trailer loading bundles that were about 900-1000 lbs each, onto the truck bed. Employee #2 heard a "thump", and went to the other side of the trailer to discover Employee #1 on the ground with two bundles of cardboard at his feet and one at the top of his head. Employee #1 was hospitalized but was killed as a result of the accident.
