Investigation Summary
At 9:30 a.m. on October 27, 2022, an employee was attempting to locate a fluid leak on a skid steer. With the bucket lifted so he could remove a bolt from a side panel, the employee attempted to exit the unit and was pinned between the left "A" pillar and the left loader lift arm of the bucket. The employee suffered severe head trauma, positional and compressive asphyxia and pulmonary edema. The employee was killed.
