Employee is killed when caught in planer machine

At 7:00 a.m. on October 27, 2022 an employee was prepping, smoothing lumber. The employee, a planer operator, was inserting wood boards into the Yates - American A-20 planer machine. A coworker, an operator helper, noticed the machine got jammed. The coworker told the employee "to stop, do not do anything, I am going over to the maintenance section to get someone to fix the machine". When the coworker returned, he noticed the employee's legs shaking and stuck inside the shaft of the planer machine. The employee was killed due to severe head trauma.
