Investigation Summary

At 8:47 p.m. on June 13, 2022, an employee was supervising a work crew level grading roads in agriculture fields. While the employee was seated inside his vehicle, Coworker #1 attempted to call his cell phone to ask for additional instructions, but the employee did not answer. When coworker #2 drove to check on the employee, he discovered the employee unresponsive and not breathing. Coworker #2 called 9-1-1 to request assistance and initiated CPR on the employee. The employee was transported to the nearest hospital for medical attention. The employee died from a heart attack.
