Investigation Summary
At 10:45 a.m. on December 3, 2021, an employee was cleaning dust from the frame of the conveyor belt of a running Tecno Egg Collection System. When employee rested their right hand near the system's cable drive, the employee's glove was caught by the running machinery and their right hand was dragged around the cable drive pulley. The employee sustained a partial amputation at the first knuckle to the right pinky and ring fingers and was treated without hospitalization.
