Employee Crushes Thumb When Caught Between Sliding Rack And

At 10:00 a.m. on January 24, 2022, an employee was working at an egg production facility that ships packaged eggs to external customers. The employee was unload ing pallets of eggs from sliding "push-back" racks. This type of rack allows mu ltiple pallets to be placed, and when removed, the next pallet slides into the f ront position on the sliding portion of the rack.
