Investigation Summary
At approximately 10:00 a.m. on February 10, 2022, an employee assisted at the automated rebar bender, stacking the pieces as they came from the machine. The pieces being made were a large square pieces raised approximately 15-20 feet from the ground. As one was finishing the bend, it caught in the machine before falling towards the employee and striking him in the side of the face. The employee was hospitalized to treat the injury.
