Employee Is Killed After Veering Into Canal And Drowning

At 10:00 a.m. on December 3, 2021, an employee had picked up a three wagon loade d of sugar cane and was driving North to transport the load. A coworker he notic ed he was driving with difficulty and radioed the employee to ask if he was ok i n Spanish. The coworker asked twice but did not get a response. Witnesses indica ted they saw the employee veer left (East) into a canal. The employee was found dead from drowning.
