Employee amputates fingertip in machine

At 7:25 a.m. on December 21, 2021, an employee was operating the SF2 machine. A blank got jammed at Station #1 Pre-Size Transfer. The employee manually removed the blank from the gripper, and the gripper closed on his finger. The employee's left index fingertip was amputated and was treated without hospitalization.
