Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

Employee #1 was training employee #2 on how to be a mill operator. The mill area is open and employees were required to wear masks while working. Employee #2 was scheduled to work on December 10, 2021, but called in sick. Employee #2 took a self test for COVID-19 which was positive. Employee #1 came in to work on December 13, 2021, but felt ill and left work early. Employee #1 died from COVID-19 at 2:30 p.m. on December 15, 2021.
