Investigation Summary
An employee was working in a school system when she was exposed to students who were infected with COVID-19. The employee contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized on September 10, 2021. Contact tracing identified two students that had been served by the employee while going through the lunch line that were COVID-19 positive. The employee died on September 29, 2021, due to COVID-19 related cardiovascular and respiratory system failure.
