Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working out of the local office of a federal regulatory agency. She worked as a consumer safety inspector (CSI) for a food safety inspection service. She inspected poultry at a poultry processing facility. While she was there, some workers for the firm that owned the facility were reported to be infected with or had tested positive for COVID-19. The employee might have been exposed to them. She contracted COVID-19. At 5:15 a.m. on September 20, 2021, she died.
