Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee worked as a court clerk for a county civil court. On August 2, 2021, the employee was in the county clerk's office receiving documents when she was exposed to a client who was COVID-19 positive. On August 9, 2021, the employee tested positive for COVID-19. On August 14, 2021, the employee was hospitalized with COVID-19 related symptoms. On September 1, 2021, the employee died due to COVID-19. Information regarding engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are not included in the narrative.
